Description

An original acrylic on a 24" x 12" x .5" gallery wrapped canvas, painted on the sides, signed front & back, wire on the back. Created & copyrighted in 2013. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity & Artist Bio.
The flowers and cactus was done with a palette knife. The stamens were done buy mixing a molding paste with the paint to create a thicker application. It was then applied to the canvas with a stylist. This allows them to play with the light and shadows and adds even more texture to this lovely painting. The background was painted with unbleached white and for shading raw umber was added to the unbleached white. SOLD
